RelayMaster Pro™ Universal 12V 24V LED Indicator Light Automotive Electronic Relay Tester

• Description:

  • The RelayMaster Pro™ is a quick go/no-go tester for relays, indicating the general health and functioning of the most common automotive relays.
  • It checks the proper functioning of relay contacts by connecting the car battery (11V–15V) to the relay coil.
  • The tester monitors the pin configuration, time to contact closure and opening, and consistency of the relay during each test session.
  • If all tests pass during the session, the GREEN LED lights up; otherwise, the RED LED indicates issues.

• Introduction:

  1. Connect the power leads to the car battery: black alligator clip to the negative terminal and red alligator clip to the positive terminal.
  2. The tester powers up when the LED illuminates in RED.
  3. Check the relay before plugging it into the tester. Select “4 pin” or “5 pin” on the tester based on the relay type.
  4. Plug the relay into one of the three receptacles.
  5. Press the “TEST” button.
  6. The tester checks the pin configuration of the unknown relay. The RED LED lights up if the relay differs from common automotive relays or if the pin is damaged.
  7. The tester opens and closes the relay ten times to test the time for contact closure and opening. If the time exceeds the limit, the RED LED immediately indicates an issue.
  8. After testing, the tester checks the relay’s consistency. If the test passes, the GREEN LED lights up; otherwise, the RED LED indicates a problem.
  9. Disconnect the power leads from the car battery and remove the relay from the tester.

• Attention:

  1. Use a 12V battery with a voltage between 11V and 15V.
  2. Ideal for coil resistance above 20 ohms.
